Can I Get Tattooed Over Stretch Marks?

Answered by Sude ErdemTattoo artist in Los Angeles

Yes, in many cases stretch marks can be tattooed over. The main thing is that they should be fully healed and no longer red, irritated, or actively changing.

Because the texture of stretch-marked skin can be different from the surrounding skin, I usually want to see a clear photo of the area first. That way I can evaluate how the design should be placed and whether any adjustments are needed before we book the project.
