While tattooing, the skin is constantly reacting to the process. Once an area has been worked on, it can gradually become more swollen and harder to work with, so sometimes I need to finish a specific section before stopping.

Because of that, I may not always be able to pause immediately. Giving me a little notice lets me stop at the right point without making the tattooing process more difficult.
